Nearly all sky view over Victoria, BC.
Credit: E. Wiebe

This is a nearly all sky view over Victoria. A few small alto-cumulus are visible but otherwise high cirro-cumulus, and other cirrus clouds spread across the sky. Some repeating features indicate the presence of wave phenomena. This photo was taken with a lens that has a 180 degree angle of view through the diagonals of the image. The centre of the bottom edge of the image shows the view to the West.

This is a photo of the region of the previous image to the north and east of the sun showing the formation and dissipation of the patch of cirro-cumulus. Click on the image to see a larger image.
